Tax and Investment StrategiesOne of the few CPAs who is also a graduate of the US Naval Academy at
Annapolis (B.S. degree in engineering), Mr. Glickman’s expertise in family
financial planning and wealth transfer, and ability to resolve financial and tax
issues, is widely recognized in the legal and accounting professions. He has
published thirty articles in such periodicals as the AICPA Journal, Journal of
the NY State Society of CPAs, Journal of the American Bar Association
and National Law Journal. He also holds a BA degree from Pennsylvania
State University, and a Masters degree from Columbia University Business
School. In 1979, Prentice-Hall Inc. published his book, Complete Guide to
Accounting and Financial Methods and Controls for Service Businesses.Before co-founding FAMILY OFFICE ADVISORS, Richard Glickman,
was a partner in the accounting and consulting firm of LCS & Z, L.L.P., which
has clients in 22 states.Mr. Glickman has served the NY State Society of CPAs on Committees and
Task Forces, and is a member of the NY Society of Security Analysts and the
Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR) and holds the Series 65 advisor Registration. He served as a Trustee of the US Naval Academy Alumni Association and member of its Finance Committee. Currently he is a member of the AICPA Personal Financial Planning and Tax Sections. He is listed in Who’s Who in Finance and Industry and was a founder and Co-President of INTEGRA International Inc., a network of independent, Chartered Accounting and CPA firms.
